Brand identity & logo
Logos, systems, marks, and visual identities. A brand that reads as a single continuous thought across every surface.
15+ years of digital design, illustration, animation, and video craft. I direct commercials and trailers, design brand identities and album covers, render 3D worlds, compose music, and write. Solo. AI-accelerated. Directed by taste.

The moment a product goes public. Built to move markets on day one.
Stories worth telling twice. Films that reposition companies and elevate perception.
Where curiosity is manufactured. The cinematic assets that make audiences lean forward.
The universe before the shot. Character, world, and style pinned before production begins.
Bigger worlds. For founders, publishers, and IP holders building beyond a single film.
Bringing archives back to life. Old material, restored, coloured, and reanimated into cinematic new form.
Beyond film — brand identity, illustration, album covers, book covers, posters, pitch decks, web design, and 3D worlds. Fifteen years of digital design under one director.

Logos, systems, marks, and visual identities. A brand that reads as a single continuous thought across every surface.

Digital and traditional — line, painterly, character, concept. Trained artist, ten-plus years of commissioned work.

Best-known for this. Cover art for musicians and labels — from painted portraits to abstract mood pieces. Musician myself, so I speak the language.

Book covers, posters, magazine spreads, editorial layouts. Published author myself — I design as a reader first.

Investor decks, sales decks, keynote visuals. Story-led — I write and design them as a single object.

Figma-first product and marketing sites. This site is one of them — direction, layout, code, motion, all mine.

Architectural visualisation, product renders, cinematic environments. Lumion, Twinmotion, Unreal — the tools plus the eye.

T-shirt graphics, uniforms, streetwear prints, and one-off tattoo designs. Line, character, texture — anywhere art meets the body.
Three self-produced albums. Original scores for film, ads, and product launches. Composer, engineer, mixed and mastered in-house.
Published author. Long-form fiction, brand copy, scripts, and director's statements. Story is the discipline underneath every other one.
Location and portrait work, product photography, and heritage photo restoration. Fifteen years behind the camera and inside Photoshop.
I'm Chris Harris — a freelance creative with fifteen-plus years of digital design, illustration, animation, and video under my belt.
I trained as an artist first — traditional media, life drawing, painting — before moving into digital. The through-line is the same: taste, composition, story. What I bring to a launch film is the same eye I bring to a book cover, a logo, or an album sleeve.
I'm also a musician — three self-produced albums, recorded and mixed at home, and composer for film scores and music videos. And a published author. And a traveller, curious about nature, open to whatever's next.
Which means when I take on a brief — video, brand, illustration, deck, world — you get one accountable line to the work: mine. No agency layers. No handoffs. Just craft.
Every frame is directed, composed, and graded by me. Nothing looks like a template — because nothing is one.
Before I roll a single frame, I lock the angle, the audience, the offer, and the ask. Craft without strategy is decoration.
I use generative tools where they compress time — pre-viz, iteration, motion, mattes — never where they compromise taste.
I'm not a content mill. I build the piece that anchors a launch, opens a season, teases a world, or reframes a brand — the one asset the rest of a campaign is built around.
No agency tax. One director, one creative universe, one accountable line to the work — me.
AI accelerates the middle. Taste, restraint, and story stay with me. That's the whole point.
Tell me about the product, the launch, and the audience. Within seven days, I'll return a real directed concept — angle, tone, structure, key frames, and a written director's statement. Not a template. Not a sales deck. A concept I would ship.
Founders, publishers, and product teams on what it's like to work with Chris.
"Chris understood the launch before we did. What came back wasn't a pitch — it was a concept we shipped almost word-for-word. Our best-performing paid ad ever."
"Chris's free concept was worth what most studios charge for a full deck. Then the hero film outran our own launch page's conversion rate by 3.4×."
"I came to Chris with a rough Kickstarter idea. He gave it a universe. Funded in 48 hours — 612% of goal by close."
"Four weeks, one director, zero back-and-forth. Chris delivered a launch that looked like it came out of a studio ten times our size."
"Every reference I sent, Chris beat. The trailer felt like it belonged in a cinema, not a launch email — and the audience noticed."
"Taste, restraint, judgment. Rare combination in a market full of template merchants. Chris is now our default director for every hero asset."
Send me the brief. In seven days, I'll return a directed concept for your film — free. If it's right, we build it. If it isn't, the concept is yours to keep.
